Robert Rosen and ComplexityHello everyone, I hope you find yourself in promising circumstances. I am interested in knowing if anyone has heard of the work of late theoretical biologist Robert Rosen. I came across his book Life Itself about 4 years ago. I have been trying to understand it ever since. It fascinates me and some part of me senses that it holds great promise.
For those of you who have not heard of it, here is a link to Panmere the site of Tim Gwinn. This site is dedicated almost exclusively to the work of Robert Rosen. http://www.panmere.com/ I hope that link came out correctly, and my apologies if this post is in the wrong place. Thank you in advance for any comments. regards, Legion True greatness consists in the use of a powerful understanding to enlighten oneself and others. -Voltaire
Re: Robert Rosen and ComplexityI am surprised that apparently no one here has heard of theoretical biologist Robert Rosen. He was mentioned in one of Stuart Kauffman's books. If I remember correctly it was Investigations.
