Haploid/Diploida newbie here would appreciate any kind of help with this question:
we know that a cell has seven linear chromosomes. does this enable us to predict whether the cell is haploid or diploid? why(not)? thanks in advance.
Assume it is diploid, what would happen at meiosis?
#note this test does not necessarily apply to bacteria which do not go thru meiosis. Living one day at a time;
