Chlorophytum comosum

Just wondering, the Chlorophytum comosum (Spider Plant), how long does it take to grow a new stolon?

Because whilst I was away from home, everytime the stolon grows a plantlet, my mother cuts the whole stolon... and yeah.

Kind of have been waiting a long while for a new stolon to grow (since recently my family accidentally killed half of the plants in our garden (don't ask how) and is now wondering if it would ever regrow or not, so that I can replant it everywhere.
