Possibly. Context: a baby is born with a potentially fatal disorder arising from the premature inhalation of a substance in the womb which causes severe limits on lung efficiency after birth.

I think mircomium/micromium may be the thing they inhale, but I'm really not sure.

Its meconium. Were you watching fight for life on the BBC the other night??

I googled to see what it is and its actually the first stool of an infant. It has more of a tarry consistency. Sometimes its expelled into the amniotic fluid and the baby inhales it.
