Hi can you explain to me what does spit consist of?
Is it enzyme and energy rich molecules?
I assumed this because I thought enzymes require energy rich molecules to operate. If this is the case is this why bleach is slippery. is it the energy rich molecules the reason? Mind boggling

Mostly water, some mucus and a few enzymes (amylase). Mucus serves as a lubricant I do not think it is rich in energy. Enzyme do not necessarily need energy rich molecules to operate, or to be more exact, the energy contain in the substrate is often sufficient for the enzyme to perform the reaction.

And what is the link with bleach? Bleach contains no enzyme, and rich molecules are not especially slippery (if I understand what you mean here...).

Bases appear to be slippery and soapy because they hydrolyse the fatty acid esther of the skin (saponification reaction).
