Not even a doctor could make an accurate prognosis just from a one line messageboard post. An expert could make a few suggestions of what it might be. but many would be wrong.

ok. I am in the uk and the boil though it is now open, the lump wouldnt allow me turn my neck but the thing is that i don't normally have boils
