Abstract

 Primary neurons are hard to transfect cells. Conventional methods lead to poor transfection efficiencies and strong toxicity on these kinds of cells. We used an innovative technique called Magnetofection to greatly improve transfection efficiencies and cell viability. Such approach appears to be a powerful tool for neurosciences.
